Rubbish

Local Authorities in Herefordshire and Worcestershire are using the waste hierarchy as a template to manage waste in the two counties. That's why we encourage residents to prevent as much waste as possible, and to reuse, recycle and compost whenever you can.

Even if we do all of these things there will always be some rubbish leftover which has to be dealt with.

Currently, the bulk of the rubbish created by householders in Herefordshire and Worcestershire is taken to our landfill site at Hill and Moor near Pershore. The site is managed and run by our contractor,
Severn Waste Services.
