At home
- Keep a tea towel or cloth in the kitchen specifically for
mopping up spills; this saves you buying paper towels.
- Try using a lunchbox instead of sandwich bags. If you pack your
sandwiches, fruit and yogurts in well, there is no need for cling
film or a sandwich bag around your sandwiches either!
- High quality goods may be cost a little more to buy
initially, but they tend to last longer and in the long run they
save you money and the stress of having to replace them more
often.
- If you buy milk from the milkman you get fresh milk straight to
your door and the milk bottles are reused over and over.
- Supermarket home deliveries are not only convenient but one
vehicle does the job of many cars reducing the number of vehicles
on the road.
