Save money
You could save at least £500 during a child's
"nappy life" by using real nappies rather than disposables.
An initial outlay to buy your nappies is
necessary. However, this could be a one off payment and means you
are not constantly paying out for disposables on a weekly
basis.
Basic real nappies can cost less than £2 each
with more sophisticated products costing from £3 - £15 each.
Home washing can cost as little a £1 per week
(this includes the cost of the electricity, washing powder and wear
and tear on your washing machine).
Further savings can be made by using the same
real nappies on subsequent children.
Second hand nappies can be found on
www.usednappies.co.uk & at NCT nearly new
sales http://www.nct.org.uk/
Herefordshire Council and Worcestershire
County Council NO LONGER offer cashback on real nappy
purchases.
