Green Issues

Preventing waste is just one way of caring for our environment, but there are many other things that we can do Worcestershire's Green Directory has tips for the home, workplace and at school.
This could be by reducing your energy use to growing your own fruit and vegetables or tips on cycling.

Worcestershire County Council's Learning for Sustainability team are working with schools and other education establishments to offer advice, they hold annual conferences and events as well as provide curriculum ideas.

The RecycleNow website www.recyclenow.com/schools  is an excellent online resource for teaching primary and secondary school pupils.  Helping you to measure the waste that your school produces to showing you how to recycle and compost.
